Venue : Khon Kaen Provincial Administration Office, Khon Kaen This festival aims to promote the silk textile industry. In the festival, activities are procession showing the symbols of Khon Kaen province, silk product contest, demonstration of weaving silk textiles, demonstration of raising silk worms and displays of silk products. Also happening along the festival is Pook Sieo tradition – the ceremony that involves friends pledging to maintain their friendship forever. Tourism Authority
