: 8 - 10 October 2003 Venue : Bang Pli, Samutprakarn Come explore the tradition of the Lotus Flower Receiving Festival at the port city of Samutprakarn. In the festival, local people will line up along both sides of the river, throwing lotus flowers onto the boat that carries the replica of Luang Po Toh Buddha Image. In addition to this long-practiced tradition, local people also flock to offer foods to monks on boats and enjoy other fun activities such as Lotus Flowering Contest, local plays and sports, Thai cooking contest and and water boxing.
