Be ready for a professional diving in this upcoming summer with Asia Dive Expo (ADEX) 2003 in Bangkok, Thailand, during May 9-11, 2003. This is the only Asia Pacific’s premier and international dive marketing exhibition where everything about diving can be found. The exhibition will take place at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center and open for trade visitors on Friday, May 9 and for public visitors for the rest two days of the event, from 10 am to 6 pm.

This international exhibition, hosted by the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the city of Bangkok, will be held in Thailand, the land of smiles, for the second time following the first time in 2000 at the same venue. Endorsed by DEMA (Dive Equipment & Marketing Association) and supported by many leading diving-related organizations, this expo will be the place where any dive industry professionals, dive masters or dive enthusiasts can find every facet of diving, ranging from dive equipment, dive watches, underwater cams, dive training organizations, dive magazines, dive operators, dive resorts to governmental tourist organizations.

Besides the exhibitions, there will also be a wide range of educational conferences, equipment seminars and presentations and workshops/ technical trainings from many well-known international dive associations and equipment manufacturers and distributors. Unlike the exhibition, the conferences at ADEX 2003 will start from Thursday, May 8 to Sunday, May 11. Most of the sessions are open for all visitors and free of charge unless stated. For the most updated conference programs, interested attendants are recommended to check the conference board on-site.

For trade visitors, it is free of charge by registration but it is wiser for them to pre-register either on line, by fax or by mail which is open until April 24, 2003. However, on-site registration for trade visitors can be also made throughout the whole exhibition days by presenting a valid business card with the registration form. Yet, free copies of the show directory will be given to on-site trade registrants only if the stocks are available.

The event is open for the public on May 10 and 11. Admission fee is 50 baht for adults and 30 baht for children under 12 years old.
