The southern beaches of Thailand are famous because of their
beauty that rival other well-known ones elsewhere in the
world. One of the most popular sports played along the seaside
is beach volleyball. It is so popular that it is included
in many international sport events.
Due to the above reason, Songkhla Province has organized
the Samila Asian Tour Beach Volleyball. The event responds
to the policy to use sports for tourism promotion.
Activities
:
The tournament is participated by 14 countries, as follows;
Japan, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Hong Kong, Philippines, the People's
Republic of China, Australia, Viet Nam, New Zealand, Thailand,
Indonesia, and Mexico. The Special Administrative Regions
of Hong Kong and Macau also take part. There are 16 men's
teams and 16 women's teams.

the lake and is divided into 2 parts; the first links
Amphoe Muang and Ko Yo and the second links with Amphoe
Khao Khiao. The bridge is 1.8 kilometers long. |
