Nakhon Phanom is a province bordering the Mekong River.
It is the longest international waterway in Southeast Asia.
It has immense tourism potential and it is very suitable
to develop and create tourism activities to make it a tourism
center. One marketing strategy is to use sport to sell and
enhance the
image
of the river. Therefore, the Nakhon Phanom Mekong Triathlon
is organized.

- Triathlon (swimming, bicycling and running).

- Local cultural performances.
- Mekong Shore Food Festival.

a sacred temple of the province. The temple has Chao
Mun Shrine and the Buddha images of Phra Tew and Phra
