Chao Mae Lim Ko Niao is a goddess that is much worshipped
by Chinese people. Devout followers donated money to build
the pavilion and a model of the goddess at Kru Se Village.
Later the model was moved to the present shrine.
Activities
:
- A procession bearing the model of the goddess and the
main Buddha image. There are also lion dances, a flag procession
and music.
- Spiritual display of walking on hot coal. Bearers carry
the goddess model, Buddha images and other god models on
a sedan chair.
- Assorted entertainment including Chinese opera, Manora,
movies, student performances, and stores selling goods.

The
mosque is an unfinished mosque. According to legend,
it is because Chao Mae Lim Ko Niao put a curse on it.
In front of the mosque are a cemetery and the shrine. |

Wat Chang Hai Ratchaburanaram (Khok Pho) |

has
a pagoda housing the ashes of the monk Luang Pu Thuat
Wat Chang Hai (who can turn seawater into freshwater).
A celebration is held every April when people bathe
the ashes in consecrated water. |
