Kite flying is a popular sport worldwide and has been played
by Thais since ancient times. Nowadays kites have developed
to take different forms and use modern materials. Kites
are more beautiful, have larger frame and are built with
the latest technology. These factors have resulted in kites
of many shapes and structures, as well as aided a variety
of kite flying styles. The Tourism Authority of Thailand
(TAT) has organized this event to promote the identity of
Thai kites.

- Demonstrations and shows of Thai kites from the 4 regions
and demonstrations of Chula and Pakpao kites.
- Stunt kites and Chula speed kites.
- Contests of picture and popular kites.
- Thai sports, exhibitions and stores selling products.
