Origin :
In November of every year, the Running for Health Association
of Thailand in cooperation with public and private offices organize
the "Bangkok Marathon" that has been growing in popularity among
Thai and foreign tourists. The start is at Sanam Chai in front
of the Grand Palace and the route passes many beautiful tourist
attractions.

The race
is divided into 3 categories:
1. Marathon 42.195 kilometers
2. Half Marathon 21.10 kilometers
3. Quarter Marathon 10.55 kilometers

Maha Kan and Phra Sumen forts (Phra Nakhon) |
