Sunflower Blooming Season

The hills and valleys of Mae Hong Son, one of Thailand's most naturally scenic areas, turn to gold when the sunflower (Tithonia Diversifolia) comes into full bloom during this period.
When the flowers fade, the seeds are collected and made into insecticides. Doi Mae U-kor, Amphoe Khun Yuam is considered to be the an excellent location to enjoy the full splendour of the sunflowers in full bloom.
