Sukhothai was the first capital of the Thai nation over 700 years ago. The Thai identity that originated way back then is what the Thailand of today inherited. In order to give due recognition to the extraordinary arts and culture of the Sukhothai period, UNESCO declared Sukhothai a cultural World Heritage Site in 1991.

Experience a warm welcome to the Thailand's first capital in the form of a colourful light and sound show.
The Emperor's Route : Travel on the same route as the Emperor of Japan when he visited this fabled city.
World and Cultural Heritage : Enjoy the historical parks in Sukhothai, Si Satchanalai and Kamphaeng Phet.


Sukhothai Night Programme

17:00	Take a tram ride around the Sukhothai Historical Park to view the beauty and splendour of architecture from the Sukhothai period
18:00	View the magnificent sun set as the sun disappears behind a mountain and ruins at the bank of the Traphang Takuan.
18:30	Delight in tasty local cuisine and take in an ambience of a world heritage.
19:00	Be greeted by the people of Sukhothai and through the mini light and sound performance, the city's past glory is told.

Foreign Language Narration
A narration on CD at 30 minutes per show is available. Either English, Japanese, French, or Thai can be selected as the narration language for each show. Show guidebooks are available in English, Japanese, French, German, Chinese, and Thai.
